David &Annie's Wedding Dinner

A little bit excited today because I have waited for this day a short period.Today is David & Annie's Wedding day!!!This is my FIRST time attending wedding dinner in Sydney.This is also the FIRST time attending friend's wedding dinner in restaurant(at first can attend MRS xxx's wedding this year...but....forget about it...)

The invitation mail David sent me said that it'll start at 6.30pm.We reached there earlier abit because we need to prepare some extra time for looking the venue since we both never been there.We used some time only found the Crystal Restaurant in Strathfield.

It's almost the time but only came less than 50% of guests...Haih...Chinese's 'tradition'...

First time get a souvenir in Chinese's wedding dinner

The dinner only started around 7.30pm,almost an hour late than planned time.Frankly speaking,we both very hungry that time.We just faster ate when the dishes came.Sydney here is little bit different from what we have in M'sia.Waiters here just divided the dishes to everyone.The taste is not bad but the quite a long time between dishes.Have eaten things that we have long time no eat,such as shark fin soup,suckling pig and so on.Yummy~~

David's parents did not attend this time due to some reason.So just left Annie's parents,managers,David's ex-landlord,Jared said something on stage.So funny when Annie's parents said Chinese on stage,Jared has to translate it into English.Some of the Chinese idioms he just tried to skip it.Almost the dinner ended,John just went on stage and joined as 'guest host'.The environment suddenly changed funny and interactive.We also 'saw' what's called Chinese Kiss,Malaysia Kiss,Australia Kiss and so on(of course demonstrated by our couple tonight)...^^

Really feel happy when see friend finally find his/her happiness and get marry.But the groom told me that I still have to wait 2 more years for someone call me 'aunty'...Let's see then lo...

Anyway,still wish David& Annie can happily ever after....
